Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time world title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually happening.
